The Cancer Research UK Manchester Centre handles the data of our students, alumni, and anyone else we come into contact with. We take data privacy and protection seriously.

The data we handle is defined as personal data in the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 and is often also referred to as Personal Information.

Our data collection and processing procedures are all  governed by the standards set out by The University of Manchester. Further information about their policies for data protection can be found on the university’s privacy and data protection websites.
