Maria is a research associate and bioinformatician working with the Bristow and Wedge groups at the University of Manchester. Her work focuses on the relationship between hypoxia and genomic instability in prostate cancer, which she investigates using a wide range of omics data. She also has an interest in data visualisation and timing the occurrence of events in cancer progression.
