Cecilia is a research associate working in the Cardiovascular Sciences group. The aim of their study is to understand the effect of radiotherapy on cardiac function and structure. In particular, they are working with in-vivo models to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms related to radiotherapy-induced cardiovascular toxicity to prevent this phenomenon in cancer patients.
