Dandan Xing

PhD Student

Dandan is a self-funded PhD student from the Cardiovascular Science Group at The University of Manchester. She is focusing on the influence of cardiovascular comorbidities on the tolerance to radiotherapy in cancer patients. Her group are trying to develop the understanding of the molecular mechanisms of radiation-induced heart diseases (RIHD) and provide potential intervention approaches for patients experiencing RIHD with or without cardiovascular co-morbidities using in-vitro cellular models.
